Thank you rm 15*.* solved the problem. On 12/04/10 13:19, Adam Tauno Williams wrote:

Hoi Listmates, On a ext3 filesystem I have 2 files that are corrupted. I can't do anything with them , not delete or rename. The rm error tels me "> cannot remove `15 - You & I (Trentem?ller Free Dub).flac': No such file or directory
Is it the only file in the directory that starts with 15? If so try "rm 15*". I've used that trick to eliminate files with totally whackadoodle names several times; it hasn't failed yet.
Or if you can move the file: create an empty directory, move the file there, and delete the directory.
Deleting in dolphin is also not possible. (couls not delete file) There is 1 unreadable character in the filename but I am not sure that this is the problem. I run fsck -f -p on this partition bat this gives me no errors. What else can I do to repair this filesystem ?
I doubt it is 'broken'.
Thanks, Hans
