Are there any Swiftfox users out there? Is there a noticeable difference from Firefox? Here's the site: http://getswiftfox.com/download.htm
I'm not a user but I seriously doubt that it makes a difference. The patch which is available as "source code" is here: http://getswiftfox.com/source/swiftfox-3.6.3.patch So codewise there is basically _no_ difference. Those are only preferences you can change in Firefox as well. I cannot see the buildoptions frome here but in case you install it you could help us and post them here: about:buildconfig The amount of patches in openSUSE's Firefox is much higher but we _only_ optimize for i586/x86-64. Feel free to discuss with compiler people if it makes a difference. And if you try it please report back if you see performance wins.
