[opensuse] Kmail: Retrieving Folder Contents

Each time I click into a folder on Kmail it shows the "Retrieving Folder Contents" screen requiring a second click on that directory to actually bring up the message list. If I don't click it the message list NEVER appears. It will sit there forever. This happens even when on a lan directly served by the imap server, with virtually instantaneous response time.
