Greetings all, I just recently purchased 2 new Toshiba laptops and am having a difficult time disabling the Touch Pad.
If it is a synaptic pad, there is a thing you can run that disables it when there is a USB mouse plugged in. In KDE I have an icon in the system tray to control this. It is on my laptop at home, so I will have to wait to tell you which package it is. If it is not a synaptic pad, then I do not know what you can do. It you never want it, perhaps it could be disabled in the bios? -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Ramböll Sverige AB Krukmakargatan 21 P.O.
