Don't forget to edit your KDE menus to add the "--enable-plugins" bit.
Please be aware that the Chromium version delivered from the Contrib repository already has this setting "--enabled-plugins" in it's menu entry. I'm using KDE 4.3.4 and Chromium from the contrib repo. whem I go into
