Has anyone else run into the problem of burning DVD's? K9copy, Dvd95, and XDVDShrink - ALL - lock up the system tighter than a crabs butt - on ALL systems I've tried it on!! All boxen are 64-bit and updated 11.2. ALL have codecs and libdvdcss.

I've been using k9copy to shrink DVD's for a while now and aside from a crash here and there for odd reasons that usually get fixed in the next updates, I don't have any problems. Sounds like 11.2 is having a problem w/ your drive?
If you read closely Fred's original message, he is talking about "*burning* DVD's". My response was that k9copy does not *burn* DVDs but copies them. k3b is the app. which actually does the burning (if selected to do so in k9copy). (I am running k9copy successfully in 11.2.)
