My Dell Vostro has the subject wireless card; its PCI-ID is 1404:4315. On the site http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43 I learn that this card's driver support is "in progress". I also get the impression that even with support, it is not as worthwhile a device as one might like. This makes me think that I might be better off buying a USB wireless device supported by the ZD1211 driver which is supported directly by the kernel, and save a lot of hassle. I'll be going through the airport at the end of the week, and may well find in the Duty Free area a decent substitute. I would be grateful for any comment on this choice. -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
