I'm having problems getting my openSUSE 11.1 system to apply updates automatically. In yast I went to software > online update configuration and checked "automatic online update" with internal set to daily. "Skip interactive patches" is checked as I don't really want kernel patches applied automatically. I set this up weeks ago but the system shows it needs updates and I don't understand why they aren't being installed. If I check using zypper I see 24 patches are needed: # zypper -v pchk Verbosity: 1 Initializing Target Checking whether to refresh metadata for openSUSE-11.1-Updates Retrieving: repomd.xml [done] Checking whether to refresh metadata for openSUSE-11.1-Non-Oss Retrieving: content [done] Retrieving: media [done] Checking whether to refresh metadata for openSUSE-11.1-Oss Retrieving: content [done] Retrieving: media [done] Checking whether to refresh metadata for openSUSE-11.1-Update Retrieving: repomd.xml [done] Loading repository data... Can anyone suggest where I should start looking? Thanks Jim -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
