...lots of complaints...
Well, I held off 11.1 for quite a while until my 11.0 started to get flaky in May. I upgraded to 11.1, did all the updates (there were many), and had no trouble at all except with kde 4.1.3, which misbehaved a little. I've since upgraded to kde 4.2.4 (with, again, all the updates) and had no trouble at all until I had to communicate across an unsecured wifi line. When I get home, I expect to be back in my comfortable suse 11.1 with kde 4.2.4 on line. Did you really do all the updates? 11.1 and kde 4.2.4 have treated me just fine. Sure, it's missing some things from kde3, but they're things I don't really need -- as is obvious from the fact that the only way I know about them is by reading about them on the list :-). I think I'll be quite happy until 11.2 comes out officially in November. If kde 4.3 gets off factory before then, I'll probably upgrade to it.
