I found the dhclient.conf file in the /etc but I cannot find the first part where it calls for editing the /etc/network/interfaces in opensuse 11.1
Where would I put this configuration in openSUSE 11.1
The MAC address can be set by the "LLADDR" variable in /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-your_interface (see ifcfg.template) for details. As for the rest, I guess you can put it in a script in /etc/sysconfig/network/if-up.d. Charles -- Linux is obsolete (Andrew Tanenbaum)
