What are the disadvantages of lilo? (apart from not being supported by YaST)
You need to update the mapping when you change files.
You mean type 'lilo' and hit enter?
And updating lilo.conf. Which does not work automatically any more in 11.1, at least not in my installation. Of course, if you like to live risky and don't keep old kernels around, you've got no conf file to update. But I got to old for that hazarduous strategy... ;-) Joachim -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Joachim Schrod Email: jschrod@acm.org Roedermark, Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
