PAL and NTSC are different scan rates. As I remember they are based on the 50 HZ (Europe) and 60 HZ (USA) I also will remind everyone that the USA on June 12 (as I remember) will shut off all NTSC (analog) Xmit. and go to ATSC (Digital) Xmit.
