The next one I tried "K Audio creator cd/dvd tool" Here I get the message "No decoder has been selected, please select an encoder in the configuration" How do I do that ? John

Don't SHOUT! You don't give enough info. Do you want to simply copy the audio in the same format as the original, or do you want to rip them first to mp3? What exact format is the original DVD? Data? Audio CD? In order to rip (which is what it seems you are doing) you need some extra stuff not provided by openSUSE directly; follow Rajko advice. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
