I have been able to Mirror my Boot+Root partitions by formatting with the correct format and using the redundancy of different same size partitions on different HDD on two seperate disks and creating a mirror RAID - Is there anything special in creating a RAID (mirror) of the boot+root partitions of a HDD As when I come to boot the system - I get please insert system disk.... I did select the original primary master HDD before which always produced a stable boot and operation. Now all I have done is to create a redundancy raid with the second sata HDD partition....but still no boot. Can anyone tell me their experience in doing just the same without however having to correct or change the boatload manually. My Knowledge is sound in theory but my redundancy RAID of my boot+root partition correct. Can anyone tell me if I DO need to change anything in the boot config to get this to boo it from the designated Media. If there is a requirement to have to change bootloader instructions manually - Ill assume it does not work fore me
