Surely user interface testers have looked at how people use e-mail clients. What are their expectations about that the pretty little buttons do. How many expect to press a button labeled Reply when they want to reply. I subscribed to the list. Not to each individual on it. When a message arrives, I see it as coming from the list, not from any individual. Sorry folk: on this list we are all just faceless drones :) When I Reply, it is to the thing I subscribed to: the list.
