Again, while I have dealt with this myself, and there's even a site called letmegooglethatforyou.com that people have created because of this, we are still a community and we still have many people who are new or inexperienced with newer versions of our distro. If you aren't going to bother offering a real answer, maybe you shouldn't bother hitting the reply button.
Please, why on earth are you people trying that hard? He asked how he could set different wallpapers for each virtual desktop and that he was running KDE 4.1. In KDE3 it is the same way as in 11.0 btw. I gave him the answer: It is not possible with KDE4.1, unless you use activities. I won't bother quoting myself. On top of that I told him that he could have got that answer by doing a simple google-search. So you telling me, that I did not offer a real answer, are just lying. Even more so, both of you adding to this thread without adding any answer to the question but just complaining about me giving the only real answer there is for KDE 4.1 and I think KDE 4.2 as well, is just spamming the list. So unless you can tell him how to do it in KDE 4.1 without activities, i.e. add anything useful to my answer, stick to your own advice. And please stop sending private messages that spam my inbox, this is a mailinglist and answers should go only to the mailinglist.
