I don't really understand what you mean, but if you are using opensuse
11.1 you can just click on the on click install and wait for the yast
installer to do it's magicks

I download the tar file and then sh freemind.sh. I have the 0.9 beta 20 installed and works ok. They are beta so some of the releases complain about the openjava and some not.
