It's already there, unless you think I should add it to the other parts of

menu.lst also. My menu.lst follows:

gfxmenu (hd1,0)/message

###Don't change this comment - YaST2 identifier: Original name: linux###
title openSUSE 10.3 - 2.6.22.17-0.1
root (hd1,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.22.17-0.1-default
root=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_WDC_WD1600AAJS-_WD-WCAT10250821-part3
resume=/dev/sdb4 splash=silent showopts
initrd /initrd-2.6.22.17-0.1-default

I actually miss

vga=0x314

on this parameter list... this would inform the kernel to load in a graphical
mode and give it a decent resolution
(0x314 will set it to 1024x768 at 16bit).

Simply add it behind showopts
