That is pretty disgusting, the way you hijack those bug reports. I think that you should be kicked off BKO, personally. BKO is for filing errors and feature requests. It is not a place to discuss Thunderbird nor a Thunderbird support forum. Nor is it a place for whining.
IMO - this is how developers and users should interact. I've seen all kinds of interaction as I've been doing same for close to twenty years. There's nothing disgusting about it.
I am not whining nor hijacking anything. I am using thunderbird (and outlook) as examples of programs with features I'd like to see.
I've yet to see anyone say that this feature exists in KMail 4.x yet.
So file a bug report. Oh, wait. It's already there. There are different proper channels for different things. When you make a bug report, the only comments it needs is further information on the bug or whatever. Making pleas, arguments and "me too" posts are abusing the system. There are other avenues for those. If someone doesn't know the first time and makes a mistake, that's forgivable. But when they are corrected, everyone who posts after that either needs to learn to read or to pay attention. Everyone gets that you and a lot of other people (including myself) would like this feature. Sadly, some of the people who want this feature don't get what bug reports are for. I don't mind that some people are slow, but when they start to abuse a system, it *will* ruin things for others if a stop isn't put to it. For what it's worth, I think if people actually read the comments that are there, they'll realize they have no need to make further ones. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
