In /usr/share/fonts/truetype I have 21 DejaVu fonts. However, only 6 of these fonts are available to applications :(
What gives?
Aren't those just variants of DejaVu, i.e. you select DejaVu and then the variant, i.e. bold or oblique or whatever. They are not shown as separate fonts.
Sven
I understand what your saying, but the following line in a perl script $command = "convert \'$images/recordbox.jpg\' -pointsize 100 -stroke black -strokewidth 5 -fill \'black\' -font \'DejaVu-Sans-Bold-Oblique\' -draw \"gravity Center text 0,-50 \'" . $HalfDecade0 . "-\'\" -draw \"gravity Center text 0,50 \'" . $HalfDecade4 . "\'\" -filter cubic -resize $IndexLetterSize".'x'."$IndexLetterSize \'$browserlocgen/HTML-$runloc/Year/" . $HalfDecade . ".jpg\'"; used to select an oblique/italic font to display, whereas now the script returns an error that it can't find the font. The script is quite long, and by the time it's finished, the error message has disappeared from the console window, so I can't give you the exact wording.
