Hi :)
Just installed openSUSE 11.1 on my Asus R2Hv and I'm having issues with my gfx
card (see lspci below). If I use the "i810" driver I get this error:
[...]
(II) Primary Device is: PCI 00@00:02:0
(EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
But if I use the "intel" driver I get this other error:
Couldn't find PLL settings for mode!
I've been looking through bugzilla and found that this issue was detected
during the Beta phase and has been closed as "fixed":
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=432422
Seems xorg/X11 Intel gfx drivers need a patch and seems it's been applied
(bugzilla says so), but doesn't seem to work for me :(
I've tried adding these lines to xorg.conf, but still doesn't work:
BusID "0:2:0"
BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
Also tried using the VESA driver, no go.
¿Any ideas, hints, tips, ...?
BTW, lspci -nnvv gives me this:
