Unfortunately it stopped working after upgrade to 11.1
1. I'm sure you install the community repositories correct? 2. Be sure to remove the X11:/Compiz repository. 3. Add the reposiotry http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_11.1/ 4. Go to yast and search for compiz delete all search for emerald delete all 5. Make the .directories visible and delete /home/you/.config/compiz or rm -rf /home/you/.config/compiz 6. Just reboot 7. Open yast and search for compiz and be sure they come from the x11/:XGL repositoy install them search for fusion-icon and install it. 8. Do not install emerald until you are happy with everything then you can do it and see if it works. 9 The way to start is /Configure desktop/Default applications/Window manager /Use a different window manager/compiz. The way I'm doing now is a Little different. I leave that setup as is which indicates kde is the default window manager. I just use the fusion-icon and it works great. Because I use it all the time I added it to autostart so it loads every time. /Configure desktop/advance/autostart. Then from the fusion-icon I do all the changes as in opensuse 11.0 If you have any problems post it. I can tell you it is working great. I am not running emerald :( -=terry=- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
