Please, explain why to "fix" an application that was never broken at all?
Why not just "let it be"? It was very good usable in the last couple of years. So why do you want to "fix" it?
Because it was not allright at all.. But that does not mean it is allright the first run it has been changed. Write some code, and see if it gets better the way you want it?
In 11.0, when I set up a RAID array on my server, I set up the RAID first and then LVM on top of the RAID, to create the various partitions. When I tried to do the same in 11.1 I couldn't set up that LVM on RAID. So here's something that was in 11.0 and necessary, if you're using multiple partitions on RAID and removed it in 11.1. I have no idea if the partitioner will support it after the install is complete, as I didn't get that far. Also, when setting up the partitions in 11.1, you can't see how many cylinders a partition uses, even though you can specify how many. Why is this? When you're setting up a complex partitioning scheme. You want to know how many cylinders you're using. On top of this, there's that horrible colour scheme. While I can work with it, someone else said that due to vision problems, they couldn't use it. There are some idiots who think such a colour scheme is "cool", but it's not cool if you're visually impaired and cannot read it. I have seen some web sites that are also difficult to read because of the "cool" colour schemes. However, while someone may want their desktop to look that way, the installation must be clear for everyone and those colours are simply a very bad choice. -- Use OpenOffice.org http://www.openoffice.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
