I for one happen to like 11.1 and KDE4. I will admit that my first impression after installation was, hey what's going on here? I never upgraded from 10.3 to 11.0, so this is my first go with KDE4 and I must say I like it. Yes its different from 3.5 and it takes a little (very little) getting used to, but I like what I see. The desktop folder is different, but I like different. I would like to be able to directly change the opacity, but I'm sure this will be added/fixed in time. For me, hacking my system is the fun part of Linux and anything Linux/SuSE can do to make itself different from windud, I'm all for. I suppose I am fortunate that I am not experiencing issues that many users are carping about. After compiling the Xine from the tar-ball and installing over the rpm, I can play & rip music CDs, and watch DVDs . I use Nero to burn CDs, so I don't have any of the K3B issues some are experiencing. Virtual box installed without any problems, so I can use windud if I absolutely have to and my Linux vpn client works. I admit that I had to search around for some information/workarounds for some minor things, usb soundcard configuration, service menu extract/compress, and some others, but all in all I am pleased. My system boots faster and package management is 2x faster than is was in 10.3.
