Hi all, Allthough i'm trying to install a B5 onto a (virtual-)system, and should report any problems to the factory list, this is an old soar i encountered many times before on released versions. As said, i'm trying to install, not by dvd/cd, but an local http-server. Although the cause to this problem is probably mine (typo or so) i end up in the manual-installer (Linuxrc v3.3.15) which prompt me for __the address__ of the http-server, problem however is, that my local install-server is a vhost, hence the ip-address is useless. Anything else is refused (no __host-name__ is allowed here, it replies: "Invalid input" More over, at _this_ point, there is no "back" button, to switch back to an other installation method, like nfs.. All one can do, is abort the installation and try again.... hw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
