I am trying to install openSUSE 11.0 on a VMWare virtual machine but can't - the installation starts, I can select all the relevant options, and then a message appears (several times) that the check sum of the DVD has changed, that this is potentially dangerous, and asks whether I really want to use certain packages. In the summary screen before installation, manual intervention is required with the software packages - first, there is a potential conflict with one package, and then the list of packages to be installed is empty. I originally downloaded the .iso image. When these errors occurred, I went to the trouble of ordering the official DVD, assuming something had gone wrong with the download or with burning the image on DVD - but the problem is still there. openSUSE 10 installs normally in my VMWare, but I really wanted to use the latest version... Has anyone else had similar problems and, more important, is there a solution? I'd be really interested to hear it....
