Here is an off-the-wall KDE 3.5 config question. In KDE apps where you use the color dialog like control center or color chooser, etc... you have the option of adding the selected color to your palate of "*Custom Colors*" so the color is available for later use.
How do you remove a color from the list of *Custom Colors* ? Where is that list kept? I've grepped around in ~/.kde/share/config and /opt/kde3/share/config without luck. Where is that list hiding?
I found it in ~/.kde/share/config/colors (opensuse 11.0, KDE 3.5.10). Likewise for KDE4.1.2: ~/.kde4/share/config/colors

Nope: The only thing in ../share/config/colors is: 02:21 ecstasy~> l /opt/kde3/share/config/colors/ total 24 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2008-10-17 22:12 ./ drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 4096 2008-10-25 00:37 ../ -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 841 2005-09-10 03:27 40.colors -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1651 2005-09-10 03:27 Rainbow.colors -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3121 2005-09-10 03:27 Royal.colors -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2582 2005-09-10 03:27 Web.colors All of those are just standard pallets and not the Custom Pallet I was looking for. I've been through those guys. Any other idea? P.S. Thanks to Dotan, it took me 6 (SIX) hours to reinstall my system ;-) -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
