Can anyone tell me if squirrelmail has been dropped in version 11.0? I can't seem to find it anymore.
Just pull the svn version:
1.5.x Tree (current devel) svn checkout http://squirrelmail.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/squirrelmail/trunk/squirrelm...
I have been using it for years. the devel version (1.5) is rock solid.
I'll have a look at it. Do all the plugins work for 1.5 as well as for stable 1.4?
Yep, Any any problems found are solved immediately on the squirrelmail-users@lists.sourceforge.net list. If you don't want to go to 1.5, you can pull the svn of 1.4 from: http://squirrelmail.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/squirrelmail/branches/SM-1_4... I have had both versions installed for at least the last two years and I never use the 1.4 version anymore. The 1.5 version is all around a much better interface. I have run both on 10.0, 10.3 and 11.0 i586 and x86_64. I have only had 1 package update issue in the past year with 1.5 and never had any issue with 1.5 take more that a few hours to solve. Having both installed, I have never had even a minute of downtime. As lightweight as squirrelmail is, there is no reason not to pull both 1.4 and 1.5 into /docroot/squirrelmail and /docroot/squirrelmail.devel. That way you can decide which you like the best. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
