Hello, depends on the money you can affort. I can't tell you which laptop to buy, I like thinkpads. I'm running some XEN Stuff on a ThinkPad x60 (Centrino Duo). you need to get a new Laptop then. Check this site for HVM compatible processors: http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/HVM_Compatible_Processors

You can check your current processor features by entering: cat /proc/cpuinfo

On some machines it's also important to enable Processor Virtualization feature inside the Bios.
