Oh, I beg to differ. I've had several occasions where I've mucked something up and found the only way to fix it is to reinstall.
Rebooting often works as well.
Rebooting might, but resinstalling... I don't do that in years. And he solved the problem at last without reinstalling. In this case he had already reinstalled several times and each time he bumped into the same exact problem. Reinstalling once more wouldn't solve anything more. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
