Opensuse 11 kde 4.1.1 x86 64. Firefox does not play youtube videos. Flash-player is installed. How do i get flash videos working?
I guess you already tried:
nspluginwrapper -v -i /usr/lib/browser-plugins/libflashplayer.so
I think the installer in suse 11.0 64-bit does this automatically? I also tried it manually.. never worked for me. Gnash works for most of the videos. Try installing from the repos gnash you also need the codes library.. look for the keywords gstreamer ffmpeg Then you still have to remove the default (adobe) flashplayer and check from firefox that it finds the correct plugin.. type in firefox navigation bar: about:plugins Once the first flash plugin is gnash, it should work Cheers, Sampsa
see /usr/share/doc/packages/nspluginwrapper/README from package: nspluginwrapper (a link: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux-amd64.html)
