Remove manually OSS lib-xine, and it will let you install Packman version. I guess it is worth bug report, but since I found, trough trial and error, way around I didn't investigate further is it package error, or libzypp.
Where exactly is "lib-xine" found/located? Would be pleased if you could provide the URL showing this file.
In Yast, in Software Management, search for xine. You should see a number of things, including a package called xine-lib.
Hop that helps.
Please see the message I replied to, and the question I asked: "where is 'lib-xine' found/located?"
You mention "xine-lib" - which is NOT what is being discussed.
If the suse package is called xine-lib, what on earth is lib-xine? I interpreted your inability to find the package to be partly because you were looking with the incorrect name. Possible, no? Just trying to help. Been there. One can only assume that you are looking for the xine libraries for suse. They are to be found in a package called xine-lib from SUSE. Packman, OTOH, seems to name the RPMS with the xine libraries with names starting with 'libxine1'. If you are not finding it via yast, you can also try a search at http://packages.opensuse-community.org/ But I do not think you will find anything called lib-xine... -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Ramböll Sverige AB Kapellgränd 7 P.O.
