On 11.0 x86 64 with kde 4.1, has anyone else noticed 2 speakers with the suse updater over 1 of those speakers? I attached a snapshot of exactly what i am talking about. I don't see a way to move either the updater or the speaker icon. Any way to correct this? This happens with other icons, right now I have two klipper icons and one is under the updater, I know I have composting on which may account for this so I didn't make a big deal out of it. --
I have the same exact thing happening. I noticed this about 10 days ago after a YOU and my sound does not work now unless I follow this procedure: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Sound_Card_Makes_a_Noise_After_KDE_Starts Then it works (it also gets rid of one sound icon). I also am getting "KDEinit could not find CheckHardware executible" error if I launch xmms, amarock, etc... (VLC is ok). I think that one update screwed up and I need to re-install some packages (haven't figured out what yet).
