but don't be too surprised if Seb isn't interested in bug reports until he goes beta.
I guess, it is something unusual to hear :-)
After above sentence, some people will not report any bugs before beta. Which, in reality, will never come because even if owner will see that there is no new bugs and declare beta, alpha bugs will be in there. I guess that something like that happened to early KDE4.
Developer can be busy to answer on all the bugs, but he got to see reports to know that something is wrong. He can ask question later, or close bug as fixed in version x.x.x, notifying users that they have to update software.
I don't know right now who is Seb, but I'm sure that if I would be developer, I would like to have users feedback in bugzilla.

Well, I was somewhat surprised to see someone had a package, because as far as I'm aware he hasn't even released an offical alpha yet, I just assumed I had missed an announcement somewhere. I believe the port to Qt4 isn't even complete yet. So hence my saying he may not pay attention to bug reports as it may be in too broken a state for bug reports to make much sense.
