I just use vlan for most everything - it just works!
Please tell me how for 10.2. YaST2 shows I have vlan-1.9-10 installed, which shows its only executable is /usr/sbin/vconfig. That opens Konq to a 404 page if I try to run it. I see nothing that looks much like it in any multimedia menu. http://software.opensuse.org/search for vlan or videolan gets 0 results. YaST2 shows installed also vlc-0.8.6h-4.4 installed. Run command vlc (also in menu under audio player) brings up a tiny little window that does nothing no matter which microscopic button I push, and has no menu I can find. -- "Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry."
