Another question about the OBS. Perhaps i should post it on the obs-list, but it's security-related, for all-of us.. My college wanted to have a go with truecrypt and asked me if it was available on the obs, "Sure!" i replied. As i am migrating all our 10.3 systems to 11.0 i was in for a nice surprice: I was expecting the rpms to be in ..../security:/privacy:/openSUSE_11.0/x86_64/ (or in factory) However, truecrypt is not in there (yet, i hope) otoh, there are 11.0 rpms to be fond in: .../home:/NicoK/openSUSE_11.0/x86_64/... and in ... /home:/bitshuffler/openSUSE_11.0/x86_64/.. These are the latest 6.0 releases of truecrypt. So my question is actually two fold: 1) On obs-home directories it is clearly the "owner" who decides what to do, and when, How is this descicion generally done for "other" branches in the obs, like security? Are these branches officially maintained by SuSE-people? Or are these also "community" driven. 2) Will there be an version of TC for 11.0 in the "official" security:/privacy: branche? (yes, i know i can get them from http://www.truecrypt.org, but it is more about the general picture.) hw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
