I'm unable to connect wireless networks with 64bit wep (8 letter ASCII) using OpenSuSE 11 with GNOME and the wlan-card is Intel PRO/Wireless 4965 a/g/n. Trying to connect with GNOME NetworkManager and iwconfig with no success.
Is it possible to configure NetworkManager to use 64b WEP encyption?
Already known in bugzilla. Try to use the key as hex.
Back when I was using WEP, I'd use "ps aux|md5sum". This generates 128 bits, so just take what you need and leave the rest. -- Use OpenOffice.org http://www.openoffice.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
