[opensuse] Kmenueditor updating configuration endless loop

I want to add some shortcuts to KDE4 Menu but when I click on save it just keeps going through a sick endless loop of updating system configuration . It hits 100% and then repeats and repeats and repeats and...... Any one else have this problem or know how to fix it? -- Michael S.
