Hi
Do not use the /media/ folder since it is managed by some remote device media-mounter.
You have manually created the /media/win-shares directory ? This directory must exists. Try with the -v option to mount.
Can you access the same share with smbclient? smbclient has the -d[1-10] option which gives you all the debug info you'll ever like and much more. I use it for debugging all the time when testing various samba-options.

Hi Thanks for the quick reply. I cannot mount using smbclient. Here is the output: smbclient -d3 //192.168.1.30/Bogdan/Soft pwd -Ubogdan lp_load: refreshing parameters Initialising global parameters params.c:pm_process() - Processing configuration file "/etc/samba/smb.conf" Processing section "[global]" added interface ip=192.168.1.22 bcast=192.168.1.255 nmask=255.255.255.0 Client started (version 3.0.26a-3-1478-SUSE-SL10.3).
