For my openSUSE v10.3 64-bit sysem, I have purchased a TV tuner card ("AVerTV Hybrid+FM") that comes with a driver built for "SUSE Linux 10.0 OSS". Although there is a 64-bit version for Vista, all the other binary versions on the manufacturer's website are for 32-bit operating systems. I am assuming (hoping) that I can use this driver in my machine. Is that correct? In searching for information on the Web about this card, I found one mention that the driver is smart enough, in case it finds a kernel version different from the one for which it was built, to adjust itself, if it finds the kernel source. I have installed the kernel source for this purpose. Do I have to do anything else to improve the chances of this driver working in my machine? -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
