Using 10.3 KDE and compiz. When i try to update compiz using yast, i always get this error: Installation of package ./i586/compiz-0.7.4-7.2.i586.rpm failed. Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: error: unpacking of archive failed: cpio: Bad magic
I am trying to update from the SuseFactory repo and this usually works, up until about a week ago. What do i do to fix this?
Do not ever use Factory with any stable release. Use X11:/XGL/openSUSE_10.3 repo. See the release announcements of 11.0, it has details about rpm payload changing to lzma.
