I've enabled it in sax, and 3Ddiag says all is correct but I cannot run GL-117 nor any open gl screen savers. 3Ddiag's output is :- 3Ddiag version 0.742 Verifying 3D configuration: Using 3dinfo ************************************************************

What version of Intel Drivers are you running? I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend updating using the Xorg repository [1]. This will update your Intel driver to the latest and may help with your issue.
