A Google search of "linux" hits Novell at the bottom of the second page, and open-suse at the bottom of the sixth page.
I would imagine that most "tire kickers" who call Dell for an order probably seldom mention Novell or open-suse. I doubt it is a case of Dell "pushing" Ubuntu. They would provide whatever their customers want.
Well, considering Dell doesn't sell computers to consumers with any kind
of SUSE installed, I guess not. And we know it's not because Dell is
pushing Ubuntu, because the Ubuntu PCs are buried deep in the Dell
website.
