Hi,
i have a root server hosted somewhere, it runs with OpenSuse 10.1
How can i upgrade to 10.3 ?
I have no physical access I have no DVD or CD access I have only access over internet with ssh and root permissions I have fast internet access I have a big hard disk
Can i somehow just start yast and upgrade to 10.3 and then reboot for the kernel to change? If yes - which menu to choose?
Thanks Marcel

Thank you, i have used http://en.opensuse.org/Network_Install But now my server is lost, after reboot the server has disappeared. I try to get now access again with a remote console ... oioi --------- /boot/grub/menu.lst --------- color white/blue black/light-gray default 0 #grubonce 0 timeout 8 title Boot -- SUSE LINUX 10.3 root (hd0,1) kernel /boot/vmlinuz.install noapic usessh=1 sshpassword="xxxxxxxx" install=ftp://204.152.191.39/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/oss/ hostip=10.198.51 .40 netmask=255.255.255.224 gateway=0.0.0.0 nameserver=210.133.98.97 initrd /boot/initrd.install --------------------------------------- Any idea what is wrong with above? Do i need to call a grub command to activate the menu.lst or is it automatically used? The vmlinux.install and initrd.install file i have properly copied.
