Hi,
I found this error too, but I thought that my media was bad. You can
find md5sum for the torrent file. If it is correct, and you burned the
dvd with verification, or verified it after the burning, then one of us
should report it as a bug.
btw. if your problem is the same, then you won't be able to install,
because it will find this erratic sector too in one of the default packages.

Hi Tamas,
Yes, I set verify to on, burned two DVDs and both gave me a bad sector(the same one). I finally tried to install anyway,
and it proceeded to the point of mounting the installation media, but then gave an errorthat it could not mount or create an
entry point (? - sorry I did not write down the exact error) and just would not move forward. I tried re-try on the menu
several times and it failed every time. I then gave up.
