Check that all your libqt4 packages come from the same place - do rpm -qi on them and check the Distribution: line at the bottom. This should be KDE:Qt44, since they are aggregated out of that project into STABLE:Desktop. For the rest of the kde4 packages, it should be KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop or Extra-Apps. Let us know if this is not the case.
Hi Will, Thanks again for your input. I installed several updates this morning to KDE4 again, including KDE 4 base packages, which had apparently had been updated. I had hopes that they might have fixed things, but unfortunately no... Here is the output I get: # rpm -qi libqt4 Name : libqt4 Relocations: (not relocatable) Version : 4.3.95+20080413 Vendor: openSUSE Build Service Release : 6.1 Build Date: Mon Apr 14 23:23:57 2008 Install Date: Wed Apr 16 11:00:08 2008 Build Host: build05 Group : System/Libraries Source RPM: libqt4-4.3.95+20080413-6.1.src.rpm Size : 4452388 License: GPL v2 only; GPL v3 only Signature : DSA/SHA1, Tue Apr 15 10:46:10 2008, Key ID 58d8ff412e1efa87 URL : http://www.trolltech.com Summary : C++ Program Library, Core Components Description : Qt is a set of libraries for developing applications. This package contains base tools, like string, xml, and network handling. Authors: -------- Troll Tech AS, Norway Distribution: KDE:Qt44 / openSUSE_10.3 ---------------------- I assume that the Distribution above is correct? All other packages that contain KDE4 in the name, come from the KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop repository, according to Yast2. Anything else I can check?
