Hello all,
strange hight load on CPU and slow work of system some time. CPU is CoreDuo E6550, 2 Gb memory. Nvidia GT8500 with Nvidia drivers (x11-video-nvidiaG01 & nvidia-gfxG01-kmp-default) Suse 10.3 64 bit. Installed one week ago only.
What is wrong in my system?
May be i must to disable "powerd"? i use it on desktop computer and not want to save any electricity.

Not nearly enough info to diagnose your problem from here. The only thing taking any big CPU time is Xorg, which you kind of expect. Watch top for a while and see who is getting bumped up to the top of the list. Also press the digit 1 while top is running to break out statistics for each processor separately. Who are these 9 users? I usually have only 1 or two at once on a personal machine. Shut down yast.
