Not true; I noticed immediately (along with Randall). We just have better things to do than spend a lot of time with this. But this time, I'm hoping that you might *hear* this feedback. <snip>
You are a knowledgeable person. You are also an intelligent person. But clearly, the way you treat other people just sucks.
I agree with this. You simply don't understand (or want to understand) that a lot of your remarks are simply mean-spirited. This diminishes your effectiveness and it gives the list a negative tenor. This is certainly not good advertising for the linux community and for SuSE specifically. You are argumentative for the sheer sake of argument. <snip>
But flaming people who do something wrong or who just have a different opinion is counterproductive for this community.
Precisely. This applies to *any* social interaction. My usual choice is to simply ignore your input on a thread when I see that it has evolved from linux to rant. I wish others would take that approach; I suspect you would stop ranting if you received no reinforcement. <snip> -- Tony Alfrey tonyalfrey@earthlink.net "I'd Rather Be Sailing" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
