"Dearth?"
Or is it "plethora?"
or, perhaps a "millstone"?
No, "dearth", really:
Hm, if so, then I would interpret it as "I want to have more, but I have only a few", which doesn't seem to fit the subject matter (old, cruddy machines that don't work very well)
So as I was saying, I have a few dear old computers that have this horrid lockup problem. So, when leaving the lakehouse and issuing a shutdown -h or halt, I come back a week later and find the boxes humming right along, all drives properly unmounted, etc.. right where the shutdown got stuck the week before. Very frustrating....
A UPS where you can send it a command to simply cut power, perhaps? Anders -- Madness takes its toll -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
