Hi,
I'm trying to write an article using LyX.
I define the language as Spanish. I write a single word, "olé". I export to ascii, and I get "Ole'".
Of course, ASCII is not ment to "know" about comp[osed characters etc.
Useless.
Your action is, yes. Why not just export as tex file? $ cat newfile1.tex %% LyX 1.5.3 created this file. For more info, see http://www.lyx.org/. %% Do not edit unless you really know what you are doing. \documentclass[spanish]{article} \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} \usepackage[latin9]{inputenc} \makeatletter \usepackage{babel} \deactivatetilden \makeatother \begin{document} ol\'e \end{document} Theo -- Theo v.
